3. Custom website & retainer data handling

Where Unknwn Global is engaged to build, host, or maintain a custom website, application, or e-commerce platform, the following principles apply unless a signed agreement states otherwise:

• Access to client systems, hosting environments, and credentials is scoped to what is required for the engagement and documented in the retainer agreement.
• Client source code, content, and backups remain the property of the client. We do not retain, resell, or repurpose client platform data for unrelated purposes.
• End-customer data processed through a client’s platform (e.g. e-commerce orders, form submissions) is handled as a data processor on the client’s behalf, under the terms agreed in the applicable retainer or project contract.
• Upon termination of a retainer, access credentials are revoked and any Unknwn Global-held copies of client data are deleted or returned within a reasonable period, as set out in our Terms & Conditions.

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with: (a) Levata, our affiliated technology group, where doing so supports delivery of a joint engagement; (b) vetted subprocessors such as hosting, analytics, or email providers strictly to operate our services; and (c) authorities where required by law.
